Terms of Use
Last updated: July 18, 2026
Welcome to QuickyWiki. These terms govern your use of the QuickyWiki mobile app and our website at quickywiki.app (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. What QuickyWiki is
QuickyWiki delivers short, structured reading summaries: a personalized daily digest, on-demand topic summaries, curated multi-chapter series, and a reading experience with themes, fonts, and inline jargon explanations, in English and Arabic.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with a parent or guardian's consent.
3. Accounts and guest mode
- You can browse as a guest or sign in with Google or Apple. Signing in syncs your library and progress across devices; guest data is tied to your device and migrates to your account when you sign in.
- You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google or Apple identity secure.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account, which removes your profile and reading data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
4. Subscriptions, trials, and billing
- Parts of the Service require a paid subscription. New subscribers get a 3-day free trial with full access; unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and the store charges you.
- All purchases are processed by Google Play or the App Store — we never see your payment card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel anytime in your Google Play or App Store subscription settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period.
- Refunds are handled under Google's and Apple's store policies. If prices change, we'll notify you as the stores require before the new price applies.
5. Fair use
To keep the Service fast and affordable for everyone, on-demand summary generation is subject to reasonable quotas that depend on your plan. You agree not to:
- scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract content from the Service;
- reverse engineer, probe, or interfere with the app, our API, or our integrity checks;
- circumvent quotas, trials, or subscription requirements;
- use the Service to spam, post abusive feedback, or violate any law.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. Content and attribution
- QuickyWiki summaries are crafted from openly licensed sources, including Wikipedia. Underlying source material remains subject to its own licenses (such as Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike).
- Summaries are for general information and enjoyment. They are simplified by design and may contain inaccuracies — they are not professional, medical, legal, or financial advice.
- The QuickyWiki name, logo, app, website design, and original content are owned by QuickyWiki. You may not copy or use them without permission, beyond your personal, non-commercial use of the Service.
7. Your content
Ratings, comments, and feedback you submit remain yours, but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use them to operate and improve the Service — for example, to fix a summary you flagged. Don't submit anything unlawful or abusive; we may remove such content.
8. Availability and changes to the Service
We're a small team building fast. Features may change, be added, or be removed, and the Service may be occasionally unavailable. We'll do our best to keep disruption minimal, but we can't promise uninterrupted operation.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickyWiki will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
11. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, abuse of the Service, or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive (content licenses, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we'll give notice in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
